We’re testing machine translation of our daily news in the hope information reaches more quickly non-english speaking locals.
As this is machine translated, non english articles are generally not expected to make full sense, but they should, hopefully, communicate the gist of it.
For english speakers nothing will change. For non english speakers, you can now simply add your country code at the end of trustnodes.com. Something like trustnodes.com/ko/ or trustnodes.com/de/ with ru, zh-CN, fr, it, es, ar for arabic, hi for hindi, nl for dutch, and pt for Portuguese currently supported.
An easy way of access is to go to the top menu under news and then hover under “Local” where the local language translations are shown. Otherwise, you can click on the globe right at the bottom where language flags should show up.
Once you are in your own language, clicking around within Trustnodes remains in your own language as far as machine bots can translate it. So making the experience at least somewhat close to the convenience levels of english speakers.
Of course, as much as we love our little bots, they are unlikely to be as refined as our original writings. You are therefore very much encouraged to notify us of how certain words, sentences, paragraphs or even entire articles can be better translated in your local language, especially if any of the bot translations leads to any misunderstanding.
Because much of this fairly new translation mechanism is not quite polished, but cryptos are global, so we too are now trying to be global at least in spirit.
