CheapAir, one of the biggest travel agency that begun accepting bitcoin all the way back in 2013 is now to start accepting ethereum, dash, bitcoin cash and Litecoin.
Jeff Klee, CEO of CheapAir, revealed they have processed more than $5 million worth of bitcoin payments. Now they’re expanding to other cryptos.
“CheapAir is about to start taking ethereum which is new in addition to dash, bitcoin cash, and litecoin,” Klee said.
CheapAir was apparently facing some difficulties during the bull run in 2017 when bitcoin’s fees skyrocketed. So they switched from Coinbase to BTCPay, an open source bitcoin processor.
Now they’re looking to hedge further and offer their customers the opportunity to choose from one of the top cryptos, so potentially lowering their reliance on network specific factors while increasing competition between cryptos in the payments space.
